影片改编自秦建日子的同名小说，原著受约翰·列侬的反战歌曲《圣诞快乐(战争结束)》的启发而创作。故事围绕圣诞夜东京突然发生的连环爆炸恐怖事件展开，中村伦也、广濑爱丽丝、井之胁海、胜地凉等群星共演。
